At Webtechnika, we implement CSR through concrete actions: reducing energy consumption, optimising our IT infrastructure and creating better working conditions. Our goal is a building as close as possible to zero emissions: photovoltaics, thermal modernisation and, in the future, powering the server room with surplus electricity. We also plan to recover heat from the server room for heating the building and to create a social area where our team can genuinely relax during the workday.
At Webtechnika, we understand CSR as responsible software house operations: reducing our environmental impact, developing secure and ethical software, and creating the best possible working conditions for our team.
Energy and near‑zero emissions
We are systematically expanding our photovoltaic installation and carrying out thermal modernisation works so that our building gradually approaches a low‑ or near‑zero‑emission standard. In the future, we plan to use PV surplus energy to power our server room, while the excess heat generated by the IT infrastructure will be recovered and used to heat the building.
Responsible IT infrastructure
When designing our systems and operational environments, we focus on doing things “smarter, not heavier”: performance, stability and security, so that hardware and energy resources are used as efficiently as possible.
People and workplace
We want Webtechnika to be a place where people can concentrate and truly rest. In the next stage, we plan to adapt the currently unused basement into a social and relaxation area, improving comfort and well‑being for our team.
This is just the starting point – we will regularly update this page with new actions and measurable results of our changes.
